Dolce & Gabbana sells NFT collection for 1,885 ETH
Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana has sold its first collection of non-exchangeable tokens (NFT) for 1,885 ETH (around $6.3m at the time of writing).
UNXD and @DolceGabbana are proud to announce that The Doge Crown from the Collezione Genesi NFT collection sold for 423.5 ETH, or $1.275 million. A collection called Collezione Genesi was traded on the NFT marketplace UNXD. Some tokens contained physical clothing or jewellery.
The most expensive NFT token was The Doge Crown, a jeweled crown for 423.5 ETH (about $1.4 million). The buyer of the token was Red DAO, an organisation for digitally collecting clothing and accessories.
As a reminder, in April 2021, Vogue Business reported that Italian fashion house Gucci and several other luxury brands were preparing to release their own NFTs.
