Bitcoin Depot to install bitcoin ATMs in US and Canada
Cryptocurrency ATM operator Bitcoin Depot has announced a partnership with Circle K that will see the chain's shops in the US and Canada install bitcoin-ATMs.

Circle K shops already have more than 700 such ATMs installed. According to CoinDesk, citing Bitcoin Depot CEO Brandon Mintz, 6,000 devices are scheduled to be operational in North America in 2021.
Bitcoin Depot ATMs allow the exchange of cash for more than 30 different cryptocurrencies.
Recall that in 2020, the number of bitcoin-ATMs globally grew by 83%. In the first months of 2021, it increased by 21.8%.
XRP is cryptocurrency that runs on the XRP Ledger, a blockchain engineered by Jed McCaleb, Arthur Britto and David Schwartz. McCaleb and Britto would go on to found Ripple and use XRP to facilitate transactions on the network.
