Binance launches Lazio football club fan tokens

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has launched fan tokens of Italian football club Lazio and has become the main sponsor of its football uniforms. This is stated in a press release.

LAZIO fan tokens appeared on the Binance Fan Token platform, which was launched on 13 October.

Fans can expect a "more vibrant experience of interaction" with the club through unique rewards based on interactivity and gamification.

The Lazio club from Rome was founded in 1900. In its long history, the team has won the UEFA Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, two Italian Championships, seven Italian Cups and three Italian Super Cups. Lazio's social media audience is 2.5 million.

"The partnership with Binance will allow us to expand our digital presence and move to a new level of communication with our fans and subscribers. Engaging fans with new technologies and leveraging Binance opens up new horizons for mainstreaming our club's brand and supporting us in the future," said Lazio president Claudio Lotito.

As a reminder, the Binance NFT non-exchangeable token platform and cybersport media holding company WePlay Esports launched the joint NFT collection Storyline from WePlay Collectibles.
