Basketball star Shaquille O'Neal to release NFT collection

Four-time NBA champion, broadcaster and entrepreneur Shaquille O'Neal will release a collection of non-transferable tokens (NFT) in partnership with Ethernity Chain. It has been announced by CoinDesk.

The Shaquille O'Neal: The Eras of Dominance Collection will become available for purchase on 15 October. It consists of five different NFTs depicting the three cities where the athlete has played - Los Angeles, Orlando and Miami.

In April 2021, football star Pele said he would issue a non-interchangeable token on the Ethernity Chain platform.

Recall that in July, professional boxer Tyson Fury sold NFT for $987,000. The auction took place on the HoDooi marketplace.
